At Retrokit we turn vintage Vespas into electric ones, without touching the frame.

It all started in 2019, when Alex, our founder, sold his vintage motorcycle and invested all his savings to start a company selling something that could not yet be type approved in Italy. It took three years, three governments and several trips to Rome, but in July 2022 the retrofit decree for motorcycles finally came through.

Today we design axial flux motor kits made specifically for the Vespa, we build them and ship them all over the world, as far as Colorado and Indonesia.
